London Fields ostensibly is like any other nice inner-city park, but located where it is - in the middle of Hackney next to the excellent Broadway Market - makes it THE place to hang when the sun comes out. Briefly during last summer you couldn't move for pretty young things playing ball games and picnicing (well, al fresco drinking more like) and generally sweltering in skinny jeans. There is even a lido so you can show off your retro swimming costume.
