Lively crowd adds to the charm...

Osteria’s classically Italian menu of good pizza and pasta dishes means it’s always full to the brim with a lively crowd of West London 30-somethings. The tables are a bit cramped and the service can be erratic but somehow it just adds to the charm. This is a good grazing spot for pre-bar hopping in Notting Hill or for a family lunch - children are not only tolerated but welcome – but if you like a bit of elbow room when you’re eating, avoid weekends when, unsurprisingly, the place is heaving.
