Tucked into a former bodega in the Lower East Side, Alias is a multi-cultural event that delivers shredded kale along side Vermont Mac and Cheese. Bite into a burger with Russian dressing and steak fries one night, and hit the Roasted Wild Striped Bass with local radishes the next. But it’s the shrimp tacos and pulled pork that often draw in the foodies past the fire engine red façade festooned with rainbow lights, and into this surprisingly quiet, unassuming nook.
