Covent Garden is never less than entertaining

Always high on visitor’s agendas – Covent Garden is everything that is good about a tourist destination. Architecturally, it’s an elegant and harmonious mix of old and new. The piazza is a covered paved area filled with shops and cafes. What makes it extra special is the free entertainment – no matter what time you visit you are likely to catch a free performance from one of the many talented performers.

Tourist Hell
Beautiful and quaint, but constantly packed with french exchange students with rucksacks over both shoulders, moodily skulking around with their ipods on (probably listening to Manu Chao). See unfunny untalented street performers who will take twenty minutes building up excitement to throw a hoop in the air.
The two stars are for the Royal Opera House and the London transport Museum. Home of the best opera and ballet in Northern Europe, and nostalgic trip to a bus depot.
