Its striking dining room is very modern and very slick, with a fantastic buzz, whilst the cocktail lounge downstairs provides a more seductive and intimate setting. Roka has adapted well to the trend of "grazing", so it's best to order a number of dishes to share. My advice is trust the waiting staff and let them order for you. It's packed out day and night, so booking is a must. Great food and a regular celeb hot spot, Brad and Angelina recently dined there, minus the brood!

Sibling rivalry

My favourite restaurant in London is Zuma, but this sister restaurant comes a really, really close second. Its a little more relaxed, a little more laid back, and I think a little bit cheaper. Whats not to love?

Better than Zuma in my view
Happened to be there last night and loved it even more than the time before. The food and atmosphere is great, love the wooden bar, black cod, spider rolls and the rest of it, and deserts from Julien Pascal are from another planet.
Also, Charlotte St is so much better than the backyard of 1 Knitsbridge, although I have to say Zuma's bar has a lot going for it.
Locally distilled sochu a bit of a gimmick in my view - has to be Japanese, but then what do I know - I never drink the bloody thing!
