Opening to a whirl of anticipation, this former tea warehouse is the east London outpost of the notorious Soho House in London's West End. It has fast become one of London's top spots. It's pretty exclusive though and you will need to get in with one of its members to gain entry. Once in, you won't be disappointed with it's terrific bar and amazing rooftop pool. Its fabulous wood fired oven makes amazing pizzas. Celebs? Take your pick!

well Tom Dixon AND the amazing views make Shoreditch House one of the nicest spaces in east London, which earn it a 5 star rating.
as for the people, well avoid the weekend and you'll be all right.
Do i have to go home?

Quite simply i'd move into Shoreditch House if they'd let me. Great decor in a wonderful space, the pot-roast pork belly is to-die-for, the bowling alley is always good for a laugh and the rooftop pool is certainly a highlight of London's bar scene with buff bodies seemingly prepared to show off come rain or shine. Did i mention the cocktails...
Sexy in the city

Quite an unusal location choice from the usually old school Soho House 'massive', but it's trendy location brings in a slightly cooler crowd than its Soho equivalent. Delicious food and divine cocktails offset to a luxurious rooftop swimming pool <sigh>, if only we had the weather!

I went to this place back in early 2007 with my boss at the time. He had a membership there. The location is set in the ever so trend Shoreditch/Bethnal Green area, so I expected it to full of hip arty creative types, but it wasn’t. The crowd there are mostly city boys, suits, celebs and a few cool people. I would diffinently recommend this to anyone who loves the idea of a penthouse skyline views of the city.

Free creche for kids on the weekend
Can be a nice way to take the kids for a sunday lunch and then have a bit of time to read the papers and relax.
