The Egg Cream has neither egg, nor cream in its bubbly concoction; nor does Gem Spa sell gems or have a spa, but they do serve up a classic New York drink. Located in the East Village on the corner of St. Marks Place (sometimes known as 8th Street) this is one of the few places left to sample Brooklyn's favorite drink. With chocolate syrup, milk and brought to life with pressurized seltzer this is a cooling freshening way to nourish oneself while you wander the neighborhood.
