Owned by the English Football Association (FA). The original stadium was opened by King George V in April 1924 and demolished in 2003. The new stadium was opened in 2007 and George Michael was the first artist to perform here. It is the stage of many different types of events from football/soccer matches, NFL games, to music concerts.
Cold, impersonal and bad service
In another example of how England can waste tremendous amount of taxpayer money, deliver a piece of architecture years behind schedule & way over budget that has many structural and planning flaws, please welcome Wembley to the mix (the Millenium Dome & Bridge, etc).
Amazing how in this day & age with so many millions of pounds invested, time & consulting fees, the degree of ineptitude on display. Only fitting that the England manager that christened this shambolic stadium was Steve McLaren.
