Revisit your school days..

This will remind you of your school trips to the museums, although this time around you'll be paying attention. The (romanesque) building is breathtaking and inside you'll be confronted by a dinosaur (obviously dead!). You'll easily spend a whole day here going through the different rooms and finding out about our evolution or even minerals. In winter, this is the perfect back-drop to ice skating.

This is one of those incredible places where you will want to go many times, enjoying one "room" each time. And entrance it's free.
The building itself is amazing and the exhibits are great and very well documented. A great place to go and take the kids on rainy days.
The food in the restaurant is good and they have a nice kids menu.
The museum hosts lots os great exhibitions but these are not free and it's usually good to buy tickets in advance.

worth a visit :)
Definately need more than one visit, and entrance is free so you can go as often as you like. A real 3D encyclopedia of the world.
I love it and so does my son, it was top of his list to visit for his birthday day out, Hamleys came second!
