It started in Paris, is designed to look like a Brazilian slum and is located smack bang in the middle of Shoreditch - Favela Chic is an eclectic place! It also blurs the lines between bar, restaurant and club, although is perhaps best known for its Latin soundtracked dancefloor - be warned though, it gets heaving at weekends! Recommended by Metrotwinner LeeLondon.

Kirsty brings her wondrous mix of murder lullabies, blues-folk beauty, voodoo tunes and bitter-sweet songs to FAVELA CHIC. She will performs with her amazingly multi-talented seven-piece band. I went to this gig last Wednesday and it was really good. Great venue. Kirsty has a lot of energy and her band were incredible. I'd recommend heading down there.

Joana and the Wolf free gig Wed 31st March
Another awesome band at Favela Chic. The incredible Joana and the wolf are playing at a free gig at Favela Chic in London on Wednesday 31st March. Their music is an exotic fusion of Russian folk, rock and and electro.
Definitely worth checking out!
