Is it just me, or does nothing cure a bad hangover like a slice of good pizza? My inherent pretentiousness rules out Domino's, so when possible I like to get my fix from Lil' Frankie's in the East Village. An uncomplicated menu of classic toppings like salame or homemade sausage belies the deliciousness of the pizza itself, which is supplemented by daily specials such as burrata or steamed mussels. To a soundtrack piped in from East Village Radio next door, what could be more restorative?
