What bastion of all things good and true serves piles of red meat while banning small children from the premises? That's right, Shangri La, heaven and now Lucas Steakhouse. Scores of wine bottles line the wall like blue state gun racks while the Rat Pack vibe sinks in before the first sip of vino. Some will hail the interior as a return to long lost elegance, but the place retains a creative sensibility that prevents Lucas from settling into the predictable patterns of modern steakhouse decor.
