This place looks like someone took an old pioneer saloon and plopped it in the middle of Manhattan. It is a gorgeous space that still retains some of its grit and charm. This place is so old-school they still use a dumbwaiter to deliver the food from the kitchen. Customers included seasoned weekend regulars and a couple munching on beef stew next to their designer baby stroller. Before you leave, make sure to check out the men’s room to catch a glimpse of the magnificent early-1900s urinals.
