The O2 Arena
Huge, simply huge

Previously the Millenium dome this huge space has since been taken over by O2 and divided up to create a concert space, smaller bar (Indigo2) and a state of the art club (Matter). The arena part is set aside for concerts and sporting events and has become the go to place for all the biggest gigs of the last few years. Michael Jackson has just announced plans for a summer of concerts here, and Prince has also taken a residency.
Great venue
The O2 recently overtook Madison Square Gardens as the world's number one most visited concert venue. Decent acoustics, purpose built facilities and excellent transportation links makes this a great place to see the biggest bands in the world. The corporate entertainment facilities are also excellent if you are lucky enough to get an invite.
