Drunken Monkey
Funky bar with great food on the edge of the city

A regular winner of one of London's coolest bars. It pioneered the drinking and Dim Sum trend and produces some great small bites throughout the day. One of the few bars that even on a Monday night, has an up for it crowd, shaking in their suits. Don't be misled in thinking it's purely for City boys and gals. It's not. It's one of the few places where Hoxton trendies rub shoulders with investment bankers, with a shared interest in laughing, dancing, and being happy.

Gastro pub meets Manhattan Bar Chic
The Drunken Monkey sits almost anonymously on the corner of Shoreditch High St and Great Eastern St, formerly a lap dancing club the bar now offers excitement of a different kind in the shape of miniature pockets of joy (the dim sum) and great cocktails and music. It combines everything positive from London's gastro pubs, with a taste of Manhattan Bar Chic and a large dosage of Oriental Kung Fu spice which all in all makes in one of the best bars in London.
