If you like your comedy haunts like you like your wine, with a mature and reputable flavour, then you’ll be looking for somewhere with a bit of class. Head to the Comedy Store which has been providing belly-aching laughs courtesy of the likes of Eddie Izzard and Lee Evans since 1979 and your comedic snobbery may just be appeased. Only problem is it’s just off the disgustingly touristy Piccadilly Circus so getting there can be like wading through a sea of treacle – you have been warned.
