Running through the neighborhoods of Morningside Heights and Harlem, this narrow park features winding walks and play areas for children. Built on an incline, the park weaves by upper Manhattan landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and Columbia University. Stretching north and south for thirteen blocks, the park is a popular gathering place for residents. Near also to Riverside Park and the historic Apollo Theater.
