Brooklyn Bridge
The grandaddy of all US Bridges

One of the oldest suspension bridges in the whole of the US this bridge is a bit of a New York icon - more understated than say the obvious ones like the Empire State or the Statue of Liberty. Connecting Manhatten and Brooklyn it has been deemed a national historic landmark and to Londoners entering the city from JFK is likely to provide them with that brilliant view of the city skyline. Very beautiful, very cool, very New York.

No 1 bridge
When I went to NYC .. i HAd to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.. It was well worth it . The fantastic views , the traffic going underneath. Everyone should walk across the Brooklyn Bridge .Stay out the cycle lane though!! And by the way its free so try it .
