Just round the corner from Highbury tube this little bar packs a lot of character into its relatively small space. The unmarked door means it doesn't leap out at you - putting one in mind of the speak-easy's NY is so famous for. With decor that looks more like a french boudior than a bar its a great place to sink a few bottles of wine/cocktails (all reasonably priced) with friends. The atmosphere is enough that this could happily be your destination for a night out rather than the warm up.
