Underground in more senses than one, Trisha's is the real thing: great jazz on tap, as cool as it gets in the most unpretentious, happily under-styled sense of the word. Expect a diverse, packed crowd, great value (if not a particularly sophisticated range of) drinks, shabby chic, super friendly people and no signage to speak of - it's just a doorway. The definition of a hidden gem.

A London scene

Rating 3 months ago

Had a late night in Trisha's last week and it was great fun. Young and old in attendance, 50's music banging out from a young smartly dressed DJ in the corner (who only plays 7" records with one deck!) and a friendly atmosphere. Certainly not clean and smart so perfect for those looking for a drinking den with character in the heart of Soho.

The most well-kept Soho secret ever

Rating 6 months ago

That image up there? That's all that indicates that you have indeed come to the right place. Walk downstairs into what they call a 'member's bar', but that is open to people who take the trouble to find it. Small, cosy, full of retro film pictures on the wall, and a small, friendly, old Italian man behind the bar - you immediately start feeling like you've hit the jackpot. Happy hour is till 8pm, when drinks are (wait for this!) £2!!! Left feeling like we didn't want too many people to know :-)

An oasis in the middle of Soho

Rating over 1 year ago

Feels like a little spot of heaven in the middle of Soho. A truly random crowd of super friendly regulars. Cheap and cheerful drinks and a massive table all to ourselves, it was the polar opposite of most of the bars you find in Soho and all the better for it. Definitely worth a visit, if you can find it
