Huntley and Palmers biscuit empire may no longer be churning out sweet treats, but their legacy of this historic building to the world of hostelling is enough to put cavities in any backpacker’s teeth. The hostel itself is a little out of the way, but it looks more like a grand hotel than any hostel we’ve ever stayed in, and if there’s one place to shake off the feeling of being a scuzzy traveller, this is it.
