The Mint Leaf restaurant and bar has over the last 5 years enjoyed critical acclaim for its ability to reinterpret classic Indian dishes in a contemporary fashion as well as a menu full of sensational cocktails. Located in the basement of a recently converted banking hall, Mint Leaf captures the essence of India with a forward looking feel, establishing a busy exciting atmosphere inherent in Indian culture.
Romantic Indian - with a buzz
A lovely restaurant with a clubby feel to it. Good music and a guy accompanied the music on a sax (live) which gave the place a very nice romantic feel to it. The food was ok – there are better Indians about. I love lamb, but for some reason the chef had a bit of thing for lamb shanks. In my opinion shanks are too chunky to be marinated with spice. All the food we ordered was well presented and the biriyani was excellent, together with the platter of meat starters. A very enjoyable evening.
