One of 10 known copies of Jo Davidson's early bronze sculptural portrait of the cross-legged Stein is on display in Bryant Park behind the New York Public Library. Created in 1923 before Stein became famous, the sculpture depicts the writer and arts patron in one of her favorite poses. While visiting Bryant Park, stop by the Stein statue and then walk over to the American Radiator Building, the subject of a painting by Georgia O'Keeffe.
