Do you know where to find the Bloomingdale’s of London? What about the Tate Modern of New York? Metrotwin makes these cross-references useful - by asking people like you to suggest New York and London ‘twins’ for neighbourhoods, businesses, attractions, places and people.
Just the best places, not everywhere
Some sites provide a review for every single cafe in town. We’re only interested in the ten best places to drink coffee. Metrotwin’s recommendations come from locals, bloggers and online communities based in both cities but can be reviewed and rated by everyone.

When you create a profile, you’ll find a panel on your profile page called ‘Metrotwin Recommends’. This list is generated automatically based on what you and everyone else have saved, faved and rated. The more you use the site, the more it gets to know you, and the better your recommendations get.

Why is British Airways involved in this?
British Airways flies hundreds of thousands of passengers between New York and London every year. So it feels right for us to be backing something genuinely useful for people living in and travelling between NYC and London. It’s as simple as that.
